Earth To Birthers: You Are Beyond Pathetic

Earth to the birthers, your cause is stupid and pathetic, and you are boring:

The Associated Press reported last week that the judge had denied a motion to quash a subpoena for the president to show up for the hearing, which is scheduled for 9 am ET. Obama may still be sleeping – it will only be 6 am in Las Vegas.

The case centers on whether Obama, whose father was Kenyan, qualifies as a “natural born citizen,” as required of a president under the Constitution. Some contend that “natural born citizen” means both of a presidential candidate’s parents must be U.S.citizens.

I’m sitting here contemplating what kind of jack-ass wastes one minute of his life on this kind of ridiculous nonsense. What level of mental, moral, and emotional deprivation do you have to exist at to pursue this non-issue issue? “Some contend” that a president’s parents must be citizens. Big deal. “Some contend” the earth is flat and the moon landing was a hoax. Some contend that birthers are sadly pathetic racists, a bunch of embittered whites who see the complexion of America changing hue and are running scared.

What does the Constitution contend? This:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Even if your daddy was a Kenyan Marxist socialist angry black radical with an anti-colonial mentality, or whatever, you can become president as long as you were born on US soil, are over 35, and have lived in the US for fourteen years. Obama is right to ignore this crap.
